Appointments

At Lordswood Medical Group our aim is to provide as much continuity of care with your registered GP as we can. Please always try and see the same GP for the same problem as this allows us to provide a much better and safer level of care for you. If you need to be seen urgently for an acute problem, you may be accommodated with another GP who is covering our on-call clinic for that day.

Lordswood Medical Group offer a variety of appointments available alongside our GPs and Nurses. These include Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomists, Paramedics, Physician Associates and a First Contact Physio as well as our Care Coordinators, Health & Wellbeing Coach and Social Prescribers.

Our reception team will ask for some information when you contact us in order to direct you to the most appropriate member of the team. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence and is designed to help minimise the time you have to wait for your appointment.

We are currently running a dedicated service at Quinton Family Practice for any patients with an infectious illness. This is to minimise the risk of cross infection and to allow you to be seen by our dedicated team of clinicians.

Online

In order to book an appointment online you will need to be registered to our Online service SystmOne. You can register for SystmOne please select the following link SystmOnline Login (tpp-uk.com)

In Person

You can book an appointment in person at the reception desk.

Please note our doors are open from 8.30am.

Telephone

You can book an appointment by contacting 0121 426 2030. Our phone lines open from 8.30am.

We now offer a call back service if you prefer not to wait for your call to be answered. Please select this when prompted during your call.

Types of appointments available

Face to face appointments are available should you need one or prefer this to a telephone consultation. Please ask the receptionist when you call and this will be booked for you, subject to availability.

Our GPs use a system called AccuRx which allows them to video call you via a secure link. They can also send you a link for you to submit photos if they feel this would be helpful. Any information submitted is completely secure and totally confidential.

You can now book a telephone consultation with one of our GPs. Where possible we will aim to book your appointment with your registered GP, however this may not always be possible. When booking your telephone consultation, you will be allocated a time slot and we aim to call you within that hour, so please do keep your phone to hand.
