As many of you will already be aware, Dr Purnell has unfortunately suffered a very significant health issue this year. Happily, after successful treatment, she is now on the mend and feeling much better. However, understandably, she has made the difficult decision to step back from the very demanding role of a GP Partner for the time being. We are very pleased though, that Dr Purnell intends to maintain her links with the Practice and keep in contact with everyone at Lordswood, but quite rightly she needs some time to prioritise her health and of course her young family. Everyone working at Lordswood would like to thank Dr Purnell for her many years of conscientious and caring service, for being a wonderful colleague and wish her all the very best for the future.
